Buck Rogers

 

Buck joined the Bank in 2013 working on the development of sector Cyber testing; he was instrumental in the design of CBEST. The sector facing role grew to cover the responsibilities of Deputy CISO. Buck was promoted CISO in May 2016. His responsibilities include information security policy, threat intelligence and investigations, user education, and the technical delivery of cross sector initiatives, including working with the National Cyber Security Centre.

Buck’s previous roles include 1 year at HSBC as Global Head of Intelligence, 11 years within Central Government (MoD) in a range of security and cyber functions. Previous to this Buck served for 15 years in the Royal Navy where he was stationed all over the world in a range of ships.
